Barbells are ideal for strength training. Muscle building, maximum strength and strength endurance are all equally achievable with barbells. Strength exercises such as bench presses or squats are impossible without a barbell. In combination with the Power Rack and incline bench, the bar can be used for a full body workout. When purchasing a barbell, it is important to keep in mind that the length of the bar must be long enough for the gym workout and compatible with other gym equipment.
